Al Jafiliya bus station, next to Max metro station on the Red Line, is now a stop for the E100 to Abu Dhabi and the E201 to Al Ain. RTA moved those buses’ Max stop into the station in January 2026, which makes Al Jafiliya the easiest place to catch them from Karama, Satwa or Jafiliya.
Local routes from the station include F09 to Al Wasl Park via the Dubai Frame and 26H to Al Satwa. Several other routes now use the Max metro bus stops just outside.

E100 and E201: why Al Jafiliya matters now
From 9 January 2026, RTA moved the E100 and E201 stop from the Max metro roadside stop into Al Jafiliya, according to the Dubai Media Office.
For anyone living in Karama, Satwa, Jafiliya or Al Wasl, this is good news. You can board the Abu Dhabi or Al Ain bus here, in a covered station, without travelling into Bur Dubai first. Both buses start at Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, so they may already have passengers on board when they reach you.
Our view: if you live closer to Max than to Al Ghubaiba, board here. On weekend evenings, when buses fill up, boarding at the start in Al Ghubaiba gives you a better chance of a seat.
What about E102? An Abu Dhabi-run route, E102, has been reported leaving Dubai from Al Jafiliya for Mussafah and Zayed International Airport. Other recent sources place it at Ibn Battuta. Check S’hail or Abu Dhabi’s ITC before relying on it.

Max metro station was called Al Jafiliya until 2021, so many people still use the old name.
Al Jafiliya bus timings
RTA’s network runs from roughly 4 am to 1 am, per the RTA timetable. The E100 from Al Ghubaiba starts very early; RTA’s data showed a 4:20 am departure in October 2026, so the first bus reaches Al Jafiliya a little after that. Local routes run from early morning to around midnight.
Exact first and last times vary by route and change during the year. Check S’hail, or the screens in the station.

Yes. Since 9 January 2026, the E100 to Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station stops inside Al Jafiliya on its way from Al Ghubaiba. The E201 to Al Ain stops here too. Fares to Abu Dhabi have been reported at about AED 25, paid with a nol card.
Which metro station is next to Al Jafiliya?
Max metro station (R21) on the Red Line, which was called Al Jafiliya until August 2021. It is one stop from BurJuman, where you can change to the Green Line, and one stop from World Trade Centre in the other direction. The bus station is right beside the metro.
Which bus goes from Al Jafiliya to the Dubai Frame?
Route F09 runs from Al Jafiliya towards Al Wasl Park and stops at the Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park. It is a metro feeder route, so it is paid with a nol card at normal zone fares. Check the departure times in the S’hail app.
Is there parking at Al Jafiliya?
Yes. The station was built with about 500 car parking spaces and 30 bike docks. It is not one of RTA’s free metro park and ride sites, so check the signs for charges. Free park and ride is at Centrepoint, National Paints and e& stations, for metro users.
Which bus goes from Al Jafiliya to Al Satwa?
Route 26H runs from Al Jafiliya to Al Satwa Bus Station, and F27 runs to Al Satwa from the Max metro stop outside. Route 32C no longer covers this stretch since RTA’s May 2025 changes, so older guides that recommend it are out of date.
