Buses to Sharjah and Ajman from Rashidiya
RTA doesn’t run an intercity route from here, but the neighbouring emirates do. Gulf News reported in 2024 that:
- Sharjah’s routes 113G and 113MG link Al Rolla and Al Muwailah with Centrepoint, at about AED 12.
- Ajman runs a route between Al Musalla Bus Station and Centrepoint, at about AED 15 with an Ajman Masaar card.
These buses are run by Sharjah and Ajman, so their payment methods, times and stops can differ from RTA’s. Check with the operating emirate before travel. Our Dubai to Sharjah bus guide covers all the options.
Rashidiya bus timings
Across Dubai, RTA buses run roughly from 4 am to 1 am, per the RTA timetable. The feeder routes here broadly track the metro, which runs from 5 am (8 am on Sunday) to midnight, and to 1 am after Friday. Our Dubai Metro timings hub has the details.
Each route has its own first and last bus and frequency. The station-wide “every 30 minutes” figure some sites give isn’t accurate for every route. Check S’hail.
Feeder buses from Rashidiya fan out into Mirdif, Mizhar and Al Warqa, where there is no metro yet.

Can I go to Sharjah from Rashidiya?
Not on an RTA route, but Sharjah’s own buses, such as 113G, link Centrepoint with Al Rolla, and Gulf News reported a fare of about AED 12 in 2024. Ajman also runs a bus to Centrepoint. Check times and payment rules with the Sharjah or Ajman transport authority.

The free parking is at the Centrepoint metro park and ride, next to the bus station, and only for metro users. Use one nol card at the car park barrier and on the metro, and leave within 60 minutes of your last trip. People who don’t use the metro pay hourly charges.
